Doug started playing organ professionally at the age of 15, and during the 60's and 70's shared the bill with Neil Young, Boz Scaggs, Grassroots, Sha-Na-Na, Gabor Szabo and many others. Recently, he completed a 7+ year Saturday night jazz residency with his jazz quartet at the Kings Inn Hotel in MIssion Valley, San Diego. He now concentrates on performing on the Hammond Organ locally with his current trio in San Diego, owns two Hammond organs with Leslie speakers(A100/145 and SK-2/2100/145) and is currently studying jazz organ with the legendary Tony Monaco.
